Omaha-Lincoln FEA BY-LAWS
The Omaha-Lincoln Federal Executive Association (FEA) is comprised of members who work together to improve coordination of federal activity within the Omaha, Lincoln, and Western Iowa.
Purpose
The purpose of FEA is to promote coordination of agency programs for maximum public benefit and to foster acquaintance and good fellowship among management officials of departments, offices, and agencies of the Federal government performing official business in the Omaha-Lincoln and Western Iowa area.
Membership
FEA general membership is open to all current and former Federal government employees who have the desire to participate and the ability to pursue FEA membership for their professional development and improvement of their agency operations.
Meetings
The FEA meets the second Thursday of every month. Members receive a monthly notice confirming the time, place and featured agenda. A diverse variety of speakers and programs is planned.
Goals and Objectives
∠Promote coordination of agency programs for maximum public benefit.
∠Develop a closer working relationship among Federal agencies.
∠Provide a forum for a cooperative effort in solution of mutual problems.
∠Enlighten members in matters relating to the Federal Government, in general.
∠Create a better public image of Federal Executives.
∠Foster acquaintance and good fellowship among management officials of the Federal government
in Omaha-Lincoln and Western Iowa.
∠Greet, advise, and assist newly assigned officials in establishing themselves and their offices in
their new surroundings.
∠Strengthen and maintain the highest standards of performance and provide for economy and
efficiency in transacting the Federal government's business.
∠Provide a liaison between the management of industry and business and the management of the ∠Federal government.
∠Work with appropriate city, county, and state groups on matters of mutual interest.
∠Sponsor approved Federal government participation in humanitarian campaigns, dedications, and
other public ceremonies.
∠Participate as an association in community affairs and encourage other employees to do the same.

information. Share resources to accomplish common goals.
